ThankYouDoctor exists for one thing: genuine gratitude. These guidelines keep it that way.

What belongs here

  • Genuine, first-hand experiences of care that made a difference.
  • Warm, respectful words addressed to a doctor or care team.
  • Content you have the right to share, with everyone in it aware and comfortable.

What doesn’t belong here

  • Negative reviews, complaints, accusations, or malpractice claims — this is not the venue for them; please contact the relevant medical council or grievance body.
  • Ratings, rankings, or comparisons between doctors.
  • Abuse, threats, hate speech, or sexual content.
  • Spam, promotion, advertising, or appointment solicitation.
  • Personal contact details, patient ID numbers, or addresses.
  • Private information about other people without their consent.
  • Detailed medical information that is not needed to express gratitude.
  • Claims that a doctor guarantees cures, or requests for medical advice.

Moderation

Every submission passes automated screening and human review before publication. We may redact sensitive details, request changes, or decline to publish. Every published Thank You carries a report link — reports are reviewed by our team.
